Percnia GRISEARIA Leech, 1897 View in CoL
Annals and Magazine of Natural History, Series 6, 19 (112), 414–463[455]. Combination still valid (see Scoble, 1999).
Syntype, male, pinned:
Specimen data: “[c]otype | 3 | Leech” [Printed on blue disc]. “ 1903-19 | 2258” [Printed].
Remarks: From the presence of the co-type label, this specimen, when it was sent from the BM(NH) as part of the Duplicate Disposal Scheme, was obviously considered to be one of the “ten specimens (seven males, three females) from Kiukiang, Ichang, Chang-yang, Kwei-chow and Chia-ting-fu” which were described by Leech (1897) as Percnia grisearia . According to our register no further data was on the specimen when it was received.
