A genus of only two species that are very restricted in distribution ( Garrison et al. 2006). See Ris (1904) and Martin (1909) for identification. These large dragonflies apparently inhabit small streamlets on steep mountain sides in cloud forest. One species ( Fig. 60 View FIGURE 60 ) has been found in Ecuador.
