Current status. Chaetopteroplia obenbergeri ( Všetečka, 1941) , see, e.g., ZORN (2006).

Type condition. One syntype female labelled ‘Env. de Chtaura / Liban. V.-1936 / Dr. Heyrov-

ský’ is badly damaged. Its head and pronotum are completely missing.

Remark. MACHATSCHKE (1961) reported that he had studied the holotype and allotype of A.

obenbergeri from NMPC. However, we did not find any such labelled specimens. The lectotype and paralectotypes designations by Ádám are, as of now, unpublished. Thus we regard all type specimens as syntypes.
