One male, La Palma, East side, Las Indias, in garden, 16–30 May 1996 (A. Stark, CUMZ – 10-145) .

Natural history

This is an infamous pest of cultivated Agaricus mushrooms, the larvae feeding on the mycelium. It has been transported by man as far as the Antipodes ( Clift 1979; Disney 1994a). Much has been published on this species (see Disney 1994b).
