Diagnosis: Body medium or large size. Fastigium of vertex short, broadly rounded. Notch between fastigium of vertex and the frons closed, ventrally without tubercle at the base. Pronotum without lateral carinae; lateral lobes of pronotum elongate, with distinct humeral sinus. Prosternum with two long narrow projections. Lower side of hind femora with 1–9 external and 5–11 internal spines. Tegmina long, hind wings not surpassing the tegmina. Male cerci cylindrical, with two large apical teeth. Subgenital plate of female with deep excision on posterior margin. Ovipositor long, straight; valvae of ovipositor parallel sides.
