Pseudopoda Jäger 2000 View in CoL View at ENA
The genus was described from specimens mainly from Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and China. Recent records in Vietnam ( Jäger & Vedel 2005) and Laos ( Jäger et al. 2006) completed the image of its distribution range. As found in other countries, representatives live in habitats with high humidity, such as riversides of streams in forests. The following three species were recently described as first records of this genus for Laos ( Jäger et al. 2006): Pseudopoda confusa Jäger, Pathoumthong & Vedel 2006 , Pseudopoda gemina Jäger, Pathoumthong & Vedel 2006 , Pseudopoda namkhan Jäger, Pathoumthong & Vedel 2006 . In material from the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris one single female was located, which is described below as new species.
