Diagnosis. Unbranched, club-shaped lobate, shrub-like, thickly encrusting or massive habitat. Surface more or less smooth with short conules or tubercules; oscules circular, flush or slightly elevated, sometimes with superficial canals leading to opening. Ectosome without specialised skeleton. Choanosomal skeleton plumoreticulate with ascending plumose tracts, anastomosing or interconnected by secondary multispicular tracts; not differentiated into axial or extra-axial regions.
