Distribution: India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Elsewhere: Albania, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.

Remarks: Hansen (1998) included this species from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, citing a communication with Manfred A. Jäch. It is essential to mention that this is likely to be a different entity to O. subinteger in Europe ( Villastrigo et al. 2020).
