Material examined: China, Yunnan Province: Holotype, female, 2 August 1982, Jia-fu Wang (HNU- Wang 19820802); 1 female, Tengchong County, Jietou Township, Zhoujiapo Village, 25.55844 °N, 98.66619 °E, 1660 m, 16 May 2006, Chang-min Yin, Jia-fang Hu and Ming-wei Yang (CAS-YHY03); 1 female, Tengchong County, Shangyin Township, Cuanlong Village, 25.00667 °N, 98.70992 °E, 1990 m, 4 June 2006, Chang-min Yin, Jia-fang Hu, Ming-wei Yang and Shao-xian He (HNU-YHY 25); 1 male, Tengchong County, Jietou Township, Datang Village Daheling Ganjiao, 25.42018 °N, 98.40946 °E, 1878 m, 19 May 2006, Xian-jin Peng, Xin-ping Wang and Peng Hu (HNU-PWH 060519); 1 male, same data as HNU-PWH 060519 (CAS-PWH 060519); 1 male, Tengchong County, Jietou Township, Shaba Village, 25.39262 °N, 98.70347 °E, 1850 m, 25 May 2006, Xin-ping Wang and Peng Hu (HNU-WANG 060525).

Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from other congeneric species by having a V-shaped median apophysis and extremely long and twisted copulatory ducts.

Description. Female: Total length 4.60. Prosoma 1.80 long, 1.60 wide; ophisthosoma 2.75 long, 3.00 wide. Carapace piriform, slightly longer than wide, narrow in eye region, covered with white seta, yellowish brown in cephalic region and yellow in thoracic region, cervical groove deep, cephalic region slightly elevated, fovea transverse, depressed ( Fig. 25). Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.09, PLE 0.09, AME 0.10, PME 0.11; AME-AME 0.14, AME-ALE 0.21, PME-PME 0.14, PME-PLE 0.28, MOA 0.31 long with front width 0.31 and back width 0.33. Clypeus height 0.10. Sternum cordate, yellow with brown margins, chelicerae yellowish brow, with four promarginal and three retromarginal teeth; gnathocoxae and labium grayish brown. Legs yellowish brown with dark annuli, leg measurements: I 7.30 (2.50, 2.60, 1.50, 0.70), II 5.85 (2.00, 2.00, 1.25, 0.60), III 3.25 (1.10, 1.05, 0.65, 0.45), IV 5.00 (1.70, 1.70, 1.10, 0.50), leg formula: I, II, IV, III. Ophisthosoma triangular, pointed posteriorly, posterior end slightly beyond the spinnerets, dorsum with a pale folium and grayish brown margins ( Fig. 25). Venter gray with a pair of white stripes and two pairs of white spots around the spinnerets. Epigynum triangular, scape rimmed ( Figs 27–28); copulatory ducts long and extremely curved ( Fig. 30); spermathecae spherical ( Figs 28–30).

Male: Total length 3.35. Prosoma 1.75 long, 1.90 wide; ophisthosoma 1.90 long, 1.90 wide. Coloration as in female ( Fig. 26). Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.08, PLE 0.08, AME 0.10, PME 0.10; AME-AME 0.13, AME-ALE 0.23, PME-PME 0.14, PME-PLE 0.30, MOA 0.31 long with front width 0.31 and back width 0.30. Leg measurements: I 7.30 (2.50, 2.70, 1.45, 0.65), II 5.25 (1.75, 1.85, 1.05, 0.60), III 3.10 (1.05, 1.05, 0.60, 0.40), IV 4.45 (1.45, 1.50, 0.95, 0.55), leg formula: I, II, IV, III. Pedipalp with small paracymbium ( Fig. 32); median apophysis V-shaped ( Figs 31–33); conductor broad and thick ( Figs 31–32); embolus slender ( Fig. 31); terminal apophysis threadlike distally ( Fig. 31).

Variation. Females, total length 3.75–4.60; males, total length 3.35–3.60. Distribution. China (Yunnan).
