Head wider than long, HL 0.41–0.43, HW 0.45– 0.46, coarsely punctate below antennal tubercles, median carina distinct, eyes with about 30 facets; antennae long ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ). Pronotum as long as wide, PL 0.47–0.49, PW 0.47–0.48, disc lacking rough punctuations. Elytra wider than long, EL 0.66–0.67, EW 0.73–0.74. Abdomen wider than long, AL 0.47–0.50, AW 0.66–0.68; tergite IV ( Figs. 12–13 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ) larger than V–VII combined, median excavation located near base, lateral setiferous patches large, completely covering margins lateral to the excavation, width between discal carinae 0.21; tergite V with small median impression. They may be separated by the sides of the excavation not parallel, the presence of a pair of small patches mesal to the sides of excavation, the narrow median impression of tergite V, and by the form of the male and female genitalia of B. chinensis .
Distribution. East China (Zhejiang)
Etymology. The species is named after its type locality.
