Re-description. Habitus as in Fig. 76 View FIGURES 74–76 . External morphological character states as described for T. schmidti sp. n., but differing as follows.

Body, on average, larger (length 8.1–9.5 mm). Microsculpture on head and pronotum highly obliterated, not forming distinct meshes; left mandible in frontal view moderately narrowed apically, with subtruncate apex (somewhat intermediate in this respect between that of T. schmidti sp. n. and T. subangulatus ); pronotum widest in the end of anterior third, comparatively strongly narrowed basally; its sides markedly rounded along entire length, occasionally more or less straight basally; basal angles obtuse, narrowly rounded at apices, occasionally more distinct.

Median lobe of aedeagus ( Figs. 89–91 View FIGURES 89–93 ) more robust, with relatively large basal bulb, in lateral view rather evenly arcuate, strongly narrowed apically, with apex slightly protruding dorsally forming there a very small apical capitulum; in dorsal view median lobe comparatively wide, only slightly narrowed apically, with terminal lamella ( Fig. 89 View FIGURES 89–93 ) wide and short, roundly narrowed posteriorly. Ventral side finely edged laterally in apical part and flattened between margins. Apical orifice in dorsal position, wide apically. Internal sac with a spiny formation apically.

Female genitalia ( Figs. 92 & 93 View FIGURES 89–93 ): gonocoxite arcuate, comparatively narrow in ventral view, about 0.7 times as long as gonosubcoxite, with wide base.

Proportions (6 males and 5 females measured): HWmax/PWmax 0.71–0.75; HWmin/PWmax 0.54–0.59; HWmax/HWmin 1.23–1.35; PWmax/PL 1.45–1.60; PWmax/PWmin 1.20–1.36; EL/EW 1.54–1.59; EL/PL 2.93–3.22; EW/PWmax 1.26–1.33.

Distribution. Described from Japan ( Habu 1954) and recorded from China ( Taiwan: Habu 1980, Ito 2021b; Sichuan: Hua 2002; Zhejiang, Hubei, Fujian: Kataev & Wrase 2017b), South Korea (Jujudo: Paik 1995, Moon & Paik 2006) and Vietnam ( Ito 2021b). It is recorded here for the Chinese province of Guangxi for the first time; it will probably also be found in Yunnan.
