Generitype of Anethum Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 141. 1929).

Current name: Anethum graveolens L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Apiaceae ).

Note: Although Tardieu-Blot (in Aubréville, Fl. Cambodge Laos Vietnam 5: 29. 1967) stated "TYPE: herb. Linné, Hort. Ups. 66", no herbarium is explicitly indicated, and a sheet in LINN shows no link with the Hortus Upsaliensis. Consequently, this statement is not accepted as a valid typification, and Jansen is accepted as the typifier.
