Type material. HOlOtype, male, Taiping, Yingjiang, Yunnan, 13 Aug. 2013, cOll. Ying Zhang. Paratype, 1 male, Bangda , Ruili , Yunnan, 8 Sep. 2015, cOll. Yutang Wang.

Description. Male. BOdy slender. Fastigium verticis narrOw with apprOaching lateral margins, slOping anteriOrly, furrOwed On dOrsal surface; separated frOm fastigium frOntis by a distinct gap. PrOnOtum ObviOusly narrOw and lOng, lateral margins divergent backwards in dOrsal view, median carina distinct, anteriOr margin shallOw-angularly excised in the middle, pOsteriOr margin rOunded, principle transverse sulcus Y-shaped; lateral lObes abOut 1.5 times lOnger than deep, anteriOr margin cOncave, pOsteriOr margin slightly rOunded, ventral margin descending pOsteriOrly; humeral sinus distinct.

Tegmina surpassing apices Of pOstfemOra, basal area narrOw, slightly widened backwards, apices rOunded; radius sectOr branching in abOut basal third, and with 3 branches at apical part Of Rs, withOut Other stems behind Rs On radius ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 E); stridulatOry areas Of left and right tegmina with internal margin strOngly prOjecting, prOximal part Of MP+CuIP vein behind stridulatOry area mOre Or less curved Outwards ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 G–H); stridulatOry file apprOximately straight, 1.1 mm lOng, with abOut 37 mOderately large teeth, in additiOn tO several incOmplete teeth in the end ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A).

All femOra dOrsally smOOth, with a lOngitudinal grOOve On ventral surface. PrOcOxal unarmed; prOfemOra with 8 fine spines On ventrO-internal margin; prOtibiae with 3–4 dOrsO-external spines, ventral spines absent; mesOfemOra with 12–14 ventrO-external spines; mesOtibiae with 7–10 dOrsO-internal and 0–2 dOrsO-external spines, ventral spines absent; pOstfemOra with 7 ventrO-external spines; pOsttibiae with numerOus spines On dOrsal and ventral surfaces. All genicular lObes with 2 spines. PrOtibiae with internal and external tympana cOvered separately by a cOnchate fOld.

Tenth abdOminal tergite prOlOnged, pOsteriOr margin truncate. EpiprOct lOng, triangular, apex narrOwly rOunded; cerci shOrt, reaching the middle Of subgenital plate, strOngly curved upwards in apical third, with a stOut apical spine ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 R, S); subgenital plate lOng, narrOwest in the middle, apical area split widely intO twO angular lObes, interiOr margins with a lObate expansiOn, external margins directing Outwards ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 U); genitalia with a pair Of shOrt lateral lObes, apical areas sclerOtized and with denticles On margins ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 T, 9J).

Female. UnknOwn.

Color. BOdy yellOwish green. PrOnOtum with brOwn dOts; tegmina with rOws Of brOwn dOts alOng lOngitudinal veins; apices Of cerci brOwn.

Measurements (mm). Male. BOdy: 16.0–16.5; bOdy with wings: 43.0–44.5; prOnOtum: 4.2–4.2; tegmen length 32.0–32.5; tegmen width: 3.6–3.7; prOfemur: 9.3–10.0; mesOfemur: 13.0–14.0; pOstfemur: 25.5–26.0.

Etymology. The new species is named fOr its subgenital plate with characteristic lateral lObes.

Remarks. The new species resembles Elimaea (Poaefoliana) jacobsonii Karny, 1926 in male stridulatOry area with acute prOcess On left tegmen and rOunded prOcess On right tegmen as well as stridulatOry file with distinct teeth in basal three fOurths, dense and small teeth in the remaining area. But the species can be easily distinguished frOm the latter in male cerci with a stOut and shOrt apical spine; lateral lObes Of male subgenital plate with lObular expansiOn On internal margins and external margins directing Outwards; genitalia with a pair Of shOrt lateral lObes, apical areas sclerOtized and with denticles On margins.
