38. Polyrhachis rixosus View in CoL LSID . B.M.
Female. Length 4 lines.-Black: head and thorax longitudinally striated; abdomen shining and delicately rugose; the thorax armed in front with two stout spines; the scale of the peduncle with five spines on its superior margin, the three central spines short and acute, the lateral pair rather longer and also acute. The head and thorax slightly pubescent; the extreme apex of the flagellum pale ferruginous; the metathorax truncated, slightly concave; legs slightly pubescent, the claws pale rufo-testaceous. Abdomen subglobose and delicately rugose, the extreme apex rufo-testaceous.
