HOLOTYPE. — Enslen, ‘ R. flagellaris W.’, other label: ‘ 1822 I, Rubus trivialis ? ( Enslenii Tratt. ) Amer. bor. Enslen’, W ( W0080003 ).

FINDINGS After reviewing a recent photograph of the type specimen ( Fig. 10 View FIG ), we determined that it corresponds well with the interpretation that past American authors ( Bailey 1923, 1943; Fernald 1950; Davis et al. 1968b) have given to it. Thus, we have no hesitation in accepting the present identification.
