MATERIAL. Primorskii krai, Lazo, at light, 19.VI 2023, 1♂, leg. Yu. Sundukov; same locality, at light, 27.VI 2023, 1♂, leg. Yu. Sundukov.

REMARKS. Oryctes nasicornis was known only from one male collected in Anuchinskii district (Primorsky krai) in 1973 ( Bezborodov et al., 2014). It was assumed that this species entered with transport and did not gain a foothold in the Far East. In addition, there are a few unpublished reports of observation in the south of the Russian Far East of an unknown species of the subfamily Dynastinae , different from Eophileurus chinensis , which was not confirmed by collected specimens. Yu.N. Sundukov caught the beetles in summer 2023 and transferred them to the collection of the Federal Scientific Center for Biodiversity of Terrestrial Animals of East Asia, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Identification of these beetles showed that they belong to Oryctes nasicornis . Since this species does not live in Korea and adjacent provinces of China (with the exception of Xinjiang province) ( Endrödi, 1985; Liu et al., 1997), its presence in the Russian Far East should be regarded as an introduction.
