Distribution: Pantropical.

Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Isla Isabela).

Habitat: W of Puerto Villamil near cemetery, littoral zone, under Conocarpus erecta and Rhizophora mangle between lagoons and lava flow; moist mangrove leaf litter and black humus.
