Hoplophorella cucullata: Illig et al. (2007) View in CoL .

Distribution: Semi-cosmopolitan.

Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Isla Santiago) and Zamora Chinchipe (Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro).

Habitat: Moist highland at Los Aguacate; leaf litter under Croton scouleri and Tournefortia rufo-sérica . Litter fermentation layer.
