Distribution: Neotropical, India.
Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Islas: Santa Cruz, Floreana, Isabela).
Habitat: Isla Santa Cruz: near Puerto Ayora in dry zone, in moist leaf litter under Kalanchoe pinnota ; transition zone around Caseta. Isla Floreana: cultivated area north of Cerro Pajas, under dead Psidium guajava , in rotten wood and moist humus. Isla Isabela: west of Puerto Villamil, littoral zone at flamingo lagoon behind village, moist, decayed grass litter of Sporobolus virginicus .
