Distribution: Neotropical: Costa Rica, Panama, Antilles, Surinam, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina.
Records in Ecuador: Imbabura (at road E10, 10 km SE from Lita city) , Napo (45 km N from Puyo, CIPCA ( Centro de Investigación , Posgrado y Conservación de la Amazonía) and Pastaza (Puyo).
Habitat: Natural ecosystem, leaf litter from deciduous forest. Agricultural ecosystem: banana cultivation.
