Distribution: Ecuador.
Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe (Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro and San Francisco Biological Reserve ) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).
Habitat: Organic soil layer in mostly undisturbed rain forest. Soil and litter of pine ( Pinus patula ), alder ( Alnus acuminata ) and degraded forest. Litterbags of Puteria sp., Cavendishia zamorensis , Mollinedia sp. , Graffenrieda emarginata and Clusia spp.
