Diagnosis: Medium-sized, body elongated, ground colour green or pale; membranous area always present near posterior margin of lateral pronotal lobes; pronotal carinae ill defined; tegmina pointed, extending for onefourth of their length beyond the hind femora; wings red at base; abdomen smooth and rosy.

Distribution: India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujrat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep Islands, Madhaya Pradesh, Maharshtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Elsewhere: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Malaya, Myanmar, N.W. Nepal, Pakistan, S. Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Sumatra, Thailand.
