Distribution: Brazil: Paraná, Paraguai: Paraguari.

Comments: The collected specimens were tentatively assigned to this species, as they also present features that could be interpreted as belonging to Phaneropterini , specifically species currently placed in Mendesius Piza, 1960 . An extensive revision of the species of both genera, and also of the relations among genera and tribes are necessary, including lectotype designation particularly for H. signata .

New record for the Paraná State.

Bioacoustics: Sound not recorded.
