3.5. Odonturini Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878

Twenty-four species within Odonturini , belonging to six genera, are currently recognized in the Neotropical Region ( Cigliano et al. 2022). This tribe, however, seems only to include the Ethiopic genus Odontura Rambur, 1838 ( Grzywacz et al. 2018), and the Neotropical species will probably be placed in its own tribe (O. Cadena-Castañeda, pers. comm. to MF). We found four species that were recently recorded and/or described from individuals collected at the Iguaçu National Park ( Fianco et al. 2019b).
