Inventory of Sarcophaginae species from the Humid Chaco ecoregion

Here we presented an inventory of Sarcophaginae species recorded in the Humid Chaco ecoregion . A total of 620 specimens are listed (378 obtained by sampling and 242 from entomological collections), which correspond to 62 species. Thirty-one species are recorded for the first time in the Humid Chaco ecoregion, of which ten are new records for Argentina, two for Brazil and three for Paraguay . Six species are recorded as endemic to the Humid Chaco ecoregion ( Table 2) .
