SUBFAMILY ITHYPORINAE
A new genus including one new species represents this subfamily in Guam. The new genus belongs to a group of peculiar genera which include Fergusonia Lea of Australia, Cranopoeus Marshall and Spanochelus Marshall , the last two of which are abundantly represented at least among the islands from Fiji to the Marquesas, but few of the species have been described. Other genera and species will undoubtedly be found to show that the group has a wide distribution in Australasia and probably also in Indo-Malaya.
It is worthwhile to note here that Fergusonia Lea is a homonym; I suggest the following change:
