Description. Size medium and robust. Body length (incl. forewing) 9.9mm, head width (incl. eyes) 3.3mm, pronotum width 3.3mm, scutellum width 2.3mm. Coloration green in fresh specimens, pale yellow in faded specimens. Eyes hyaline, kidney-shaped. Ocelli prominent, orange-yellow ( Figs. 1 View FIGURES 1–6 ).
Crown transverse camber weakly curved in anterior view, with anteromedial tawny marking. Frontoclypeus without median longitudinal carina. Scutellum with basal angles dusky ( Figs. 1, 2 View FIGURES 1–6 ). Forewing clavus dusky ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–6 ). Pro- and mesothoracic leg chaetotaxy reduced, with rather fine setae. Hind tibiae with 7 stout and enlarged setae rows perpendicular to axis of leg anterodorsally (AD). Metathoracic tarsomere I columnar, more robust compared with other tarsomeres, in ventral view shorter in length with remaining tarsomeres combined.
Male 8th sternite with posterior margin concave ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 7–13 ). Pygofer side in lateral aspect tapering posteriorly with ventroposterior long process, hook-like, arising at apex ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 7–13 ). Style rather slim, curved ventrally at apex, with a small subapical tooth laterally ( Figs. 7, 8 View FIGURES 7–13 ). Aedeagus evenly curved dorsally, shaft slightly lamellate with a pair of lamellate processes ventrally ( Figs. 7, 8 View FIGURES 7–13 ). Connective slightly wider than long ( Figs. 7–9 View FIGURES 7–13 ).
Material examined. Holotype: male, CHINA, Hainan Prov., Mt. Jianfengling , 915 m, 15 August 2010, Guo Zheng ( NWAFU).
Female. Unknown.
Distribution. China (Hainan).
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the type locality.
Diagnosis. This species resembles D. conspicua (Distant) but differs in having a slightly lamellate aedeagal shaft, a more slender style and a smaller body.
