First instar. Body: length 10.0 mm, width (prothorax) 3.0 mm; with uniform pile of fine short setae; prosternal setae absent. Primary setal pattern: 10 HPA, 0 PD, 3 PSL, 0 MSD, 2 MSL, 0 MTD, 2 MTL, 1 TM, 1 TSM, 1 TL, 1 AV9 ( Table 2 View TABLE 2 ), with the addition of an extra pair of TD setae in all abdominal segments. Head: covered with uniform pile of short, golden setae; epicranial suture short; frontal sutures extend to the base of the antennae; width of head capsule 2.0 mm ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 h). Mandibles with micro-asperities in the ventral base. Maxillary stipes with 17 micro-conical projections ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 i). Legs: pars stridens (mesocoxae) length 417.35 µm, width 357.29 µm, distance into striate 7.38 µm, 40 striae. Metathoracic legs with some short lateral setae (side of I tooth); anterior margin with 6 teeth, all about same size ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 h). Abdomen: raster with setae; anal ring with 18 setae; anal slit Y-shaped ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 h).

Distribution. Colombian Central and Eastern Cordillera ( Boucher 2006).

Material examined. COLOMBIA, ANTIOQUIA, Gómez Plata, vereda Vega Botero, 1070 m, 11.vii. 2011. Reyes-Castillo, Jiménez-Ferbans, Salazar-Niño, & Amat-García (3 ex).
