Material examined. 1 female (LAR.15.19), near Taiping War Cemetery, circa N4.85812, E100.75697, 46.2±5.0 m, young secondary forest edge, shrub, 17 June 2015, 2021–2226 h; 1 male (LAR.15.107), along Waterfall Road, circa N4.85919, E100.75781, 57.6± 4.8 m, grassy plot by the road, grassy/ herby area, 18 June 2015, 2028–2111 h; 3 males (LAR.15.108–110), near Bukit Larut office, circa N4.86099, E100.75952, 51.5± 3.9 m, 18 June 2015, 2130 h; 1 male (LAR.15.161) and 1 female (LAR.15.162), on Bukit Larut, circa N4.86200, E100.79288, 1058± 5.7 m, grassy area, tall grassy area, 20 June 2015, 1122–1257 h; 1 female, (LAR.15.206), on Bukit Larut, circa N4.86167, E100.79434, 1097± 5.7 m, grassy/ herby area, 20 September 2015, 1928–2055 h.
Remarks. Two colour variants and forms of calling songs were heard from the foot of Bukit Larut: chirper and continuous thrillers.
