Myrmelachista skwarrae subsp. laeta Wheeler View in CoL HNS 1934:195. Syntype workers: Mexico, Veracruz, Mirador (Skwarra). "...five workers (40) taken by Dr. Skwarra at Mirador Vera Cruz (type locality) in Tillandsia balbisiana , and one worker (762) taken at Cuautla , Morelos in T. circinata ." (Wheeler 1934) .
