Material examined: Lorestan province, Azna, 2 ex., S.A. Hosseini leg., 21.vii.2010. New record for Iran .
General distribution: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (Central, North and South European Territory, East Siberia, Far East), Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine ( Jelínek 2008), Iran (this study).
Habitat: This species in Europe was noted by us mainly in tinder fungi with soft or leathery basidiomes: Trametes gibbosa (Pers.) Fr. , T. hirsuta , T. suaveolens , T. ochracea , T. trogii , Hapalopilus rutilans , Cerrena unicolor , Lenzites betulinus , rarely in old basidiomes of Fomes fomentarius .
Comments: Astichus arithmeticus (Förster, 1851) ( Hymenoptera : Eulophidae ), 1♀, was collected from Cis micans in Lorestan province (Azna) .
