Holotype: MZUSP 117344 ; adult male, 518 mm DW (cited as 532 mm in Fontenelle & Carvalho, 2017) ( Fig. 11 ); Rio Jutaí , municipal district of Boca do Titica , upper Rio Amazonas, Amazonas state, Brazil, 2º55’24.8’’S, 66º57’07.6’’W; depth not listed; F. Marques et al.; 24 Sep 2012.

Notes: Skin patches removed on ventral surface, with a cut on the right portion of abdomen. Field no. JU12- 10.

Paratypes: MZUSP 117346 : JU12-12; one adult female, 402 mm DW (approximately the same DW as cited in Fontenelle & Carvalho, 2017); Rio Jutaí , municipal district of Boca do Titica , upper Rio Amazonas, Amazonas state, Brazil, 2º55’24.8’’S, 66º57’07.6’’W; depth not listed; F. Marques et al.; 25 Sept 2012 .
