Generitype of Fraxinus Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 194. 1929).

Current name: Fraxinus excelsior L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Oleaceae ).

Note: Nikolaev (in Bot. Zhurn. 66: 1423. 1981) indicated unspecified material in LINN as type but no sheet there is associated with this name.
