Known distribution. ARGENTINA, BOLIVIA, BRAZIL (Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Pará, Paraná, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, Rondônia, Roraima, Santa Catarina, São Paulo) , COLOMBIA, ECUADOR, GUYANA, PARAGUAY, PERU, VENEZUELA.
Remarks. This species is widely distributed in Brazil. In the Northeast Region this species has been recorded for Bahia, Ceará, Pernambuco, and Piauí states. This study extends its known distribution and provides the first record for the state of Maranhão [ Carolina Municipality ].
