Known distribution. BELIZE, BRAZIL (Ceará, Pernambuco, Piauí) , COSTA RICA, GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, MEXICO, PANAMA, PARAGUAY, PERU, SURINAME, TRINIDAD, VENEZUELA.

Remarks. Previously recorded in the Northeast Region only for the states of Pernambuco ( Souza et al. 2013b) and Ceará and Piauí (Takiya et al. 2016), the known distribution of this species is extended in this study, providing the first record for the state of Maranhão [Caxias Municipality].
