Halinella Bechyné, 1956a: 323 (type species Halinella malachioides Bechyné, 1956 , by original designation).
Remarks
This genus contains nine described species, all from South America. Compared to other New World genera of Monoleptites , Halinella is rather distinctive, the beetles being more elongate and dorsoventrally flattened than many of those in other genera ( Fig. 140 View Figs 136–143 ).
