Type : INDIA. Nilgiris, 1909, Fleischer 162 (lectotype G 15407 !, here designated; isolectotype JE!)
Note: Neither Taxilejeunea nor Lejeunea are found in the packet of the type specimen. This species most probably belongs to Calypogeia Raddi (1818: 31) as determined by R. Grolle and M. Mizutani, in sched., however, the status of this species needs further study.
