43. Fissocatops westi (Krogerus, 1931)

Zoogeographic element. European.

Distribution. From the southern part of Northern Europe ( Finland, Norway) to eastern Russia, from Central and Eastern Europe to the northern part of the Balkan Peninsula.

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Sic-Pästäraia (GS29) (Niţu, 2007); Giumaläu Mt. (LN85) (Nitzu & Olenici 2009); Piatra Craiului (LL63) (17.V.2009, AN leg., ISER). Hypogeal records. Peştera cu Gheaţä (ER70) (22.VII.2003, VI leg., ISER) ( Fig. 16 ).

Ecological status. Trogloxene.
