A Salema, Sparidae ( Fig. 5G View Figure 5 ), was collected on 11 Jan. 2018 by the fishing master Mr Erwan Brung on the coastal gillnetter Ar Bikez from Camaret-sur-Mer with gillnet. It was collected off the Pointe des Capucins (Camaret, Brittany, France), at 48.3182°N, – 4.6033°W, at 10 m depth. It measured about 40 cm and 1.5 kg. The species is uncommon in the northern Bay of Biscay ( Moreau, 1881; Quéro et al., 2008). Recorded by S. Dixneuf.
