Type:— CHINA. Yunnan: Xishuangbanna , under dense forests, 650 m, K.M. Feng 20558 (holotype KUN0127283!, isotype PE00133949!) .

Voucher specimens examined:— VIETNAM. Nghe An Province: Con Cuong District, Chau Khe Commune, Khe Choang , Pu Mat National park , 18°55’46.71”N, 104°36’31.08”E, elev. ca. 400 m, 28 October 2014, Li Bing Zhang, Liang Zhang & Ngan T. Lu 7174 ( CDBI!, VNMN!) GoogleMaps .

Distribution and habitat:—China (S Yunnan), Vietnam (Central).

Notes:—It is a rare species and a very wide gap exists between the localities in the two countries.
