Buprestis pusilla Say 1825:252 (preoccupied).

Agrilus pusillus: Auctorum.

Agrilus parvus Saunders 1871:116 View in CoL .

This species occurs over most of the U.S., from coast to coast in the southern part. Likely it will be found most everywhere its adult host plant, Amorpha fruticosa View in CoL L. occurs. We find the southwesternmost population to be worthy of subspecific status, and describe it below.
