( Fig.2 View FIGURE 2 )

Description. Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, apex rounded, with a median shallow sulcus on dorsal surface. Eyes nearly globular, slightly protruding forward. Apical segment and subapical one of maxillary palpus almost equal in length, apical area inflated.

Pronotum slightly elongate backwards, anterior margin slightly prominent, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobe longer than high, without humeral sinus. Tegmina short, terminals slightly surpassing posterior margin of pronotum, reaching middle area of third abdominal tergite, apices obtuse; hind wings absent.

All femora without spines on ventral surfaces. Fore coxa with 1 spine; tibial tympana oval and open on both sides, fore tibia with 5 spines on inner margin and 6 spines on outer margin of ventral surface. Middle tibia with 4–5 internal and 6 external spines on ventral surface. Genicular lobes of hind femur with apices obtuse; hind tibia with 20–24 spines on both sides of dorsal surface separately as well as 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs and 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs.

Tenth abdominal tergite short with posterior margin lightly concave. Basal half of cercus ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ) expanded on interno-ventral surface, bidentate, the posterior tooth comparatively long, tip rounded; apical half of cercus spinous, apex slightly acute. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ) split in the midline on basal area, lateral margins almost parallel, posterior margin truncate or slightly rounded; styli long on ventral surface of subapex of subgenital plate.

Female. Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite slightly concave. Epiproct triangular, apical area lightly concave. Cercus conical, tip acute. Ovipositor short, gently upcurved; dorsal valvula and ventral one subequal in length, dorsal valvula with apex acute, ventral valvula with a small terminal hook. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 2F, H View FIGURE 2 ) wider than long, furrowed in the midline; basal area expanded ventrad, forming two triangular lamellar processes, apices rounded; posterior margin rounded.

Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Eyes brown. Dorsal area of head with 4 longitudinal dark brown stripes. Scape and pedicel of antenna brown, flagellum with sparse annulate black stripes, lamellar uplift on internal margin of antennal scrobe blackish brown. Pronotal disc with a broad longitudinal brown stripe, posterior half slightly widened, outer margins black; lateral lobe of pronotum dark brown. Tegmen brown in exposing area.

Material examined. Holotype: ♁, Dongping, Qiaojia, Yunnan, 24 August, 2020, coll. Tao Wang and Qi Guo. Paratypes: 2♁ 2♀, the same data as holotype . Other specimens: 3♁, the same data as holotype; 2 4♀, Yaoshan, Qiaojia, Yunnan, 22 August, 2020, coll. Tao Wang and Qi Guo.

Measurements (mm). Body: ♁6.7–7.2, ♀ 6.7–7.3; pronotum: ♁3.2–3.8, ♀ 3.4–3.5; tegmen: ♁1.4–1.9, ♀ 1.4– 1.7; hind femur: ♁7.2–7.3, ♀ 8.0–8.2; ovipositor: 6.7–6.8.

Discussion. The new species differs from the congeners in: basal half of male cercus expanded on interno-ventral surface, bidentate, the posterior tooth comparatively long, tip rounded.

Etymology. The new species is named after basal half of male cercus expanded on interno-ventral surface, bidentate, from Latin ‘bi-’ (two) and ‘dent-’ (dentatus).

Distribution. China (Yunnan).
