Remarks. The distinguishing characteristics of the tribe include an anteriorly narrowed pronotum, obliquely angled lateral pronotal margins, a pronotum that is shorter than the mesonotum, a robust body that narrows both anteriorly and posteriorly, generally hyaline wings with heavy infuscation found in a limited number of species, the presence of male claspers, and basal lobe appendages that are often elaborate in some genera ( Distant 1905b, Marshall et al. 2018).
