( Figs 20 View FIGURES 17–24 , 52 View FIGURES 47–52 )

Type material: Holotype ♂, BRUNEI, Bukit Pagon (4°18'N, 115°20'E), upper montane forest, [Ulu Temburong], 1682 m, LP 308, 15−20.ii.1982, leg. G. S. Robinson, BM 1982−156, genitalia slide No. BMNH-33539 ( BMNH). GoogleMaps

Description. Imago ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 17–24 ) with wingspan 11.5 mm. Head with vertex shining white, intermixed yellow medially, frons yellowish brown, occiput dark ochreous brown. Labial palpus with basal and second segments gray mixed with white on inner surface, dark ochreous yellow intermixed black on outer surface, second segment white near apex on dorsal surface; third segment black except white at base, about same length as second. Antenna with scape white, pecten dark brown; flagellum with basal several flagellomeres white, remaining ones white and black on dorsal surface, dark brown on ventral surface. Thorax and tegula dark ochreous brown, thorax with two white spots at apex. Forewing dark orange, costal margin dark gray along basal 3/4, markings white edged with black scales: first fascia from below base of costal margin to basal 1/6 of dorsum, second fascia extending obliquely from below costal 1/4 to middle of dorsum, area dark ochreous brown between basal two fasciae; costal margin with a rounded white patch beyond costal 2/3 extending posteriorly to midwing, with dense black scales on posterior margin; dorsal margin with a streak from 4/5 extending upward to near lower angle of cell; apex with a small white spot; cilia orange basally, gray distally. Hindwing and cilia gray. Foreleg dark ochreous brown, tibia with white spot at base and middle on dorsal surface, with a tuft of short white scales at apex, tarsus with white spots on dorsal surface; midleg with tibia gray on ventral surface, black on dorsal surface, with a tuft of long white scales at apex, tarsus with basal 2/3 white, distal 1/3 black on ventral surface, black with white spots on dorsal surface; hindleg yellow on ventral surface, gray on dorsal surface, tarsus with white spots on dorsal surface.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 47–52 ). Uncus slender and elongate, slightly broad at base, rounded at apex. Gnathos membranous except weakly sclerotized laterally, slightly shorter than uncus. Tegumen branched from posterior 1/3, roundly projected postero-laterally, blunt anteriorly. Valva narrow at base, gradually widened to 2/3, distal 1/3 broadly rounded except straight at middle on apex, distal 1/4 with dense setae, serrate at apex. Sacculus broad and nearly sectorial at base, gradually narrowed to apex, reaching 1/2 length of valva. Saccus very short, narrowly rounded at apex. Juxta weakly sclerotized, narrow lamellar, with a small ovate process at base, narrowly folded inward from near base to middle laterally; distal 2/5 bilobed and asymmetrical: left lobe short and thin, acute at apex, reaching near posterior margin of tegumen; right lobe long and thicker, acute at apex, reaching basal 2/3 of uncus. Aedeagus gently curved, almost same length as valva, roundly expanded distally, with two large sclerotized processes: one narrow, band shaped, the other broader, sinuate, with dense spinules; cornutus present near apex, spine-like, about 1/5 length of aedeagus.

Female unknown.

Diagnosis. This new species is very similar to P. simplex Wang, 2006 , but can be distinguished by the long and slender uncus, the valva straight medially at apex, and the shorter cornutus about 1/5 length of the aedeagus in the male genitalia. In P. simplex , the uncus is broad and cap shaped, the valva is concave at apex, and the longer cornutus is about 1/2 length of the aedeagus in the male genitalia.

Distribution. Brunei (Ulu Temburong).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin sectoralis (= fan shaped), referring to the sacculus being sectorial at base in the male genitalia.
