Description. Imago ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9–16 ) with wingspan 9.0 mm. Head with vertex leaden mixed with white, frons grayish white, brown laterally, occiput dark ochreous brown mixed with dark brown and silvery white. Labial palpus with basal and second segments yellow mixed with dark brown on outer surface except second segment white near apex, basal segment white on inner surface, second segment grayish yellow except white at base and near apex on inner surface; third segment black except white at base, middle and apex, about same length as second. Antenna with scape white tinged with black on dorsal surface, yellow on ventral surface, pecten dark brown; flagellum white and black on dorsal surface, dark brown on ventral surface. Thorax and tegula dark ochreous brown. Forewing ochreous brown; costal margin with a nearly semicircular dark-gray patch at basal 2/3 extending down to midwing, a narrowly triangular silvery-white spot on inner margin, tinged with dense black scales on outer margin, a small dark ochreous-brown dot set near apex; with a very short, silvery stripe at base of fold, a longitudinal, slightly arched silvery stripe extending from near base of cell above fold to near middle of fold; with three silvery stripes arising from dorsum, edged with black scales: first one from dorsal 1/4 to below base of fold, broader anteriorly, second one first from 1/2 straight to near fold, then extending outward in a right-angle to 2/5 of fold, third one arched from dorsal 3/5 to distal 1/3 of lower margin of cell; a dark-gray streak along distal 1/3 of lower margin of cell arched to tornus, edged with black scales; cell with a few black scales on outer margin; cilia orange, mixed with black scales at base along distal part of dorsum, tinged with a few white scales before tornus. Hindwing and cilia gray. Foreleg black, tibia with white spot at base and middle on dorsal surface, with a tuft of short white scales at apex, tarsus with white spots on dorsal surface; midleg with tibia and tarsus grayish white on ventral surface, black on dorsal surface, tibia with a longitudinal white line at base, with a tuft of short white scales at middle, with a tuft of long white scales at apex on dorsal surface, tarsus with white spots on dorsal surface; hindleg yellowish white on ventral surface, grayish black on dorsal surface, tarsus with white spots on dorsal surface.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 41–46 ). Uncus elongate, broad at base, gradually narrowed to pointed apex. Gnathos tongue shaped, a little shorter than uncus, broad at base, narrowed to 2/5, distal 3/5 almost parallel laterally, rounded at apex, distal 1/3 margined with teeth; lateral arms narrowly band shaped, about 1/4 length of gnathos. Valva subtriangular, broad at base, gradually narrowed to rounded apex, with a triangular, setose overlapped distal area; costa projected near middle, concave before apex, with a sclerotized, ear-shaped process at base, its inner margin bearing another small triangular process. Sacculus narrow, with a small V-shaped notch at basal 1/3, distal 2/3 setose, with a digitate, downward-directed ventral process arising from distal 1/4; distal process curved upward, nearly beak shaped, pointed at apex. Saccus about same length as uncus, slender, rounded at apex. Juxta sclerotized, broad, nearly semicircular, concave in V shape at middle of posterior margin; lateral processes heavily sclerotized, digitate, dentate and with several long setae at apex, with a rightly up-curved larger process arising from base, slightly exceeding end of lateral processes; left lateral process with a small wart near middle. Aedeagus straight, almost same length as valva, broad basally, projected near middle on dorsal side, narrow distally, with a curved, sclerotized, spine-like apical process; cornutus absent.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 67 View FIGURES 66–69 ). Apophysis anterioris about 1/2 length of apophysis posterioris. 8th sternum with dense spinules and sparse long setae posteriorly, bluntly rounded on posterior margin. Lamella postvaginalis heavily sclerotized, nearly arch shaped, crossed by a bracket-shaped process. Ostium bursae mouth shaped. Antrum large, irregularly shaped, greatly arched on posterior margin, concave near middle on right side, with a small rounded hole at about anterior 2/5 ventrally, anterior margin sinuate. Ductus bursae very short and broad, about 1/3 length of corpus bursae, membranous. Corpus bursae very large, nearly rounded, interlaced with dense fine spines; with two large, elongate elliptic signa, scale-like superficially.

Diagnosis. This new species can be separated from its congeners by the forewing having a longitudinal arched silvery stripe from near base of cell above fold to near middle of fold and having a dark ochreous brown dot near apex of costal margin; the male costa having an ear-shaped process at base and the sacculus with a digitate, downward-directed ventral process at distal 1/4; female genitalia with the lamella postvaginalis nearly arch shaped and the antrum with a small rounded hole at anterior 2/5.

Distribution. Malaysia (Pahang, Perak).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin foraminulatus (= having a small hole), referring to the antrum having a small hole at anterior 2/ 5 in the female genitalia.
