Material examined.
New Brunswick, Restigouuche Co., Jacquet River Gorge P.N.A., 47.7361°N, 66.0778°W, 16.VIII.2010, R. P. Webster, coll., beaver dam, among sticks and debris near an overflow area of dam (near flowing water) (1 ♂, RWC).
Collection and habitat data.
Specimens of Acrotona sequestralis (Casey) from New Brunswick were collected in August from debris near an overflow area of a beaver dam. Klimaszewski et al. (2011) reported this species in June from along the shoreline of an inlet containing brackish water.
Distribution in Canada and Alaska.
NL, NB ( Klimaszewski et al. 2011). Presently, this species is known only from the above two provinces but most likely is more widely distributed in eastern Canada.
