MICHOACÁN: Lago de Pátzcuaro: Kinosternon hirtipes ( López-Jiménez, 1985; CNHE); Lago de Zacapu: Kinostenon hirtipes (CNHE) . TAMAULIPAS: 49.6 km N González (Hacienda Acuña): Kinosternon herrerai ( Carr & Mast, 1988) .
Specimens deposited: CNHE (1646, 1683, 3232).
Notes: Specimens from Lago de Pátzcuaro were identified as Placobdella mexicana (Moore) , but following Sawyer (1986) this species is a synonym of Placobdella moorei .
