( Martínez-Villarreal, 1969); Presa Rodrígo Gómez: Rhinella marina , Lithobates sp. ( Martínez-Villarreal, 1969); Río Pesquería: Rhinella marina (Martínez- Villarreal, 1969). VERACRUZ: Lago de Catemaco: Rhinella marina ( Caballero-Deloya, 1974) ; Laguna Escondida: Lithobates vaillanti ( Paredes-Calderón et al., 2004) ; Potrero Viejo: Smilisca baudini (CNHE) ; Puerto de Veracruz: Rhinella marina ( Bravo-Hollis & Caballero, 1940) .
Specimens deposited: CNHE (1986, 2057, 2227, 2593, 4095, 4457, 4458).
Notes: According to Baker (1987), geographic distribution of this species is Palaearctic, and for this reason, records from the Americas need confirmation. Currently, all forms previously known in Mexico, Central and South America as R. sphaerocephala were included in Rhabdias pseudosphaerocephala ( Kuzmin et al., 2007) .
