BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR: Bahía de Santa María: Chelonia mydas ( Martin & Bamberger, 1952) . JALISCO: Bahía de Chamela: Eretmochelys imbricata ( Almazán-Delgado, 1979) .

Specimens deposited: HPC (499, 4910) (H, P).

Notes: Described as Haemoxenicon stunkardi ( Martin & Bamberger, 1952) , and transferred into the genus Carettacola ( Dailey et al., 1991) ; Haemoxenicon chelonenecon , described from the same hosts and locality of Haemoxenicon stunkardi ( Martin & Bamberger, 1952) , was synonymized with the latter species ( Caballero et al., 1955).
