OAXACA: Río Verde : Crocodylus acutus ( Peláez & Cruz, 1953) .

Specimens deposited: CNHE (1387, 1388) (H, P).

Notes: Species described as Acanthostomum unami ( Peláez & Cruz, 1953) , synonymized with Acanthostomum scyphocephalum ( Nasir, 1974) , and transferred into Timoniella ( Brooks, 1980; Brooks & Holcman, 1993; Brooks, 2004) and finally to Pelaezia ( Lamothe-Argumedo & Ponciano-Rodríguez, 1985) .
